Consequently, investors are now able to transfer money to buy OEF certificate, being deposited at and managed by BIDV, in seperate transactions or schedule a standing buying transaction.

In particular, with the function of Buying open fund certificates, BIDV has implemented the function "Deposit to buy open fund certificates" on BIDV SmartBanking. Investors can choose the Fund and distribution agents to buy open-end fund certificates without having to memorize the bank accounts of distribution agents. Investors can also save the payment form and use it for later payments. This function will help investors minimize the risk of payment of wrong accounts or mistakenly typing the content of buying OEF certificate, and real-time transactions are credited to the Fund's accounts opened at BIDV.

With the function of setting up Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) to buy OEF, BIDV has completed the function "Periodic order management" so that investors can actively set up the order to buy OEF certificate on BIDV Smartbanking app by Day/Fortnight/Month/Quarter/Half-year period. At the same time, the application can determine the number of times the system makes a transfer if the customer's payment account does not have the necessary balance. Setting up a SIP makes it easier for investors to buy OEFs according to the program registered with the distribution agents, minimizing the risk of customers forgetting to pay for the OEF purchase and reducing the workload of distribution agents when performing periodic order management of investors.

The integration of this new feature is the first step in the overall plan to connect the Supervisory Bank with the distribution agents and transfer agents, and at the same time help existing BIDV customers access new investment channels to OEFs.
