VnTopup

  • BIDV-VnTopup service enables client to recharge their prepaid and postpaid phone accounts (list of service providers is updated periodically, currently prepaid ones include: Vinaphone, Mobifone, Viettel, Vietnam Mobile, Gmobile), postpaid ones include: Mobifone, Viettel on ATM or via SMS.
  • Purchase prepaid card code via SMS.
  • BIDV-VnTopup service allows client to top up, purchase card code for themselves or others.

Registration Conditions

  • + Having current accounts at BIDV;
  • + Successfully registering VnTopup service at BIDV's transaction counters.

  • Allow client who uses e-wallets of service providers to link their account(s) opened at BIDV with their e-wallet at service providers.
  • Allow client to topup from their BIDV linked accounts to their e-wallets
  • Allow client to withdraw money from their e-wallet to their BIDV linked accounts.
  • Allow client to make payment for online services with money from their BIDV linked account.

Registration Conditions

  • Having registered for BIDV Online (financial package) or BIDV Smartbanking (active status) and having phone number registered on BIDV system.
  • Successfully linking their BIDV account with their e-wallet

Registration procedures

  • Link to e-wallet directly on Mobile app of the provider whose service is used by client, authenticated by login name and password of BIDV Online/Smartbanking.

Postpaid bill payment service

  • Client authorizes the Bank to automatically debit his/her accounts to pay monthly bills.
  • Apply to postpaid services such as electricity, water, tuition fee, cable TV, telecommunication charges, etc.
  • If client does not authorize the Bank for automatic payment, he/she can make payment at the Bank's counter or via BIDV Online/BIDV Smartbanking.

  • Having current accounts at BIDV;
  • Having customer code at service providers to register with the Bank for automatic debit or instalment payment (Customer code is displayed on service invoice)

Registration procedures

  • Apply for automatic debit from current accounts for periodic post payment (electricity, water, cable television, telecommunication charges ...)
  • Option 1: Register at the Bank's counter
  • Option 2: Register online via BIDV Online/Smartbanking
  • Option 3: Call to Hotline 19009247 and provide information for authentication

Instructions for use

  • Step 1: Client visits websites of merchants/service providers and selects relevant products and services. Client should clearly understand the services, products; assume responsibility before the laws for their actions; refrain from making transactions for products or services prohibited by laws.
  • Step 2: Client selects payment method through bank account/continues to select BIDV as Acquiring Bank.
  • Step 3: The system allows client to select one among four types of information input (using ATM card/Bank account/BIDV Online's login name (CIF number)/BIDV Smartbanking's login name) and entering relevant information, i.e.:
    • If using an ATM card: Enter name printed on card and card number.
    • If using Bank account: Enter account holder and account number.
    • If using BIDV Online's login name (CIF number): Enter client's name, BIDV Online's login name
    • If using BIDV Smartbanking's login name: Enter phone number to log into SmartBanking, client's name
    • Then click "Authentication",
  • Step 4: Client is navigated to BIDV's online payment gateway to enter BIDV Online/BIDV Smartbanking password and OTP (sent to client's registered phone number).
  • Step 6: Password is verified. Transaction result is notified to client.
