BIDV SmartBanking is an outstanding app with allows customers to conduct transactions, manage finance safely and quickly at anytime anywhere such as: 24/7 money transfer, bill payment, hotel booking, tuition fee payment, phone top-up, online deposit/withdrawal, online and QR Pay payment, card services, among others. BIDV aims to develop BIDV SmartBanking a financial ecosystem through cooperation with Fintech partners to maximize the financial and payment needs of customers.

BIDV SmartBanking is a core product of BIDV's digital ecosystem. In 2017, the total number of newly registered customers of e-banking services reached over 2 million, growing over 35% annually. Number of transactions via e-banking reached 44 million of which inter-bank transfers accounted for 45% of the total outward transfers across BIDV system. BIDV ranked first in terms of transaction volume and value, accounting for 22.25% of total transactions through NAPAS in Vietnam market. By the end of June 2018, BIDV had more than 14 million bill payment transactions via e-banking channels, notably the BIDV SmartBanking.

With outstanding features appreciated by customers and high growth of customer development, BIDV SmartBanking was honored in the Top 100 trusted products organized by Vietnam Economic Times. In 2017, BIDV SmartBanking was also awarded the “Outstanding Innovative Product” as voted by Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA) and International Data Group (IDG).
