Accordingly, BIDV will refund up to VND2.46 billion e-banking transaction fees to new users of BIDV’s e-banking services within the program period. E-bank transaction fees will be refunded to customers’ registered account on a monthly basis. As regulated by the law, the program shall be terminated before the end-date when the budget is fully disbursed.
Moreover, BIDV e-banking users will enjoy extra 0.2% p.a. interest rate for all saving terms compared to interest rate quoted at BIDV transaction offices.
BIDV will continue on the policy of no registration fee and no maintenance fee for BIDV Online and BIDV SmartBanking users.
BIDV Online and BIDV SmartBanking provide a wide range of services including transferring, online savings, bill payments, QR payment, mobile top-up, and new functions which are air/train/tour ticket booking, hotel booking, shopping via Vnshop…
BIDV hopes that the promotion will promote customers to set a habit of using e-banking services and shift from cash payment and transactions at bank counters and shops to cashless transactions via online channels.
Currently, nCoV acute respiratory disease (also known as nCoV) has become a health threat with more than 900 deaths and 40,000 cases globally (statistics recorded as of 10 February 2020 from the National Health Commission of the PRC, Reuters), and 14 cases in Vietnam (statistics recorded as of 10 February 2020, according to Tuoi Tre Online).
Therefore, BIDV encourages customers to change cash payment habit and use e-banking products to reduce the spread of this virus.
