Attending the teleconference were members of BIDV’s Party Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Board of Management, Chief Accountant, Head of Supervisory Board, BIDV Youth Union Secretary, Trade Union Chairperson, as well as the management and party secretaries from the Headquarters and other units in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang City.

At the Teleconference, Mr. Vo Van Thuong - Politburo Member, Secretary of Party Central Committee, and Head of Central Communication and Education Commission - delivered a speech on implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW dated 22 October 2018 on “strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, and the fight against the wrong and hostile views in the new situation.”

Mr. Vo Van Thuong introduced the underlying contents of the Resolution; informing and clarifying concepts, and justifying the necessity of strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation; as well as identifying the hostile forces, wrong information, and sabotage conspiracies and methods of these forces, etc. Mr. Vo Van Thuong also analysed the outcomes, achievements and a number of resolutions and missions in communication and propaganda to protect the Party’s ideological foundation, etc. Based on the practical analysis, Mr. Vo Van Thuong requested local communication and education committees to focus on effective innovation and enhancement of ideological and political propaganda and training work; systematisation and dissemination of theoretical achievements gained over the period; and improvement of resolution training quality for performance and application.

Also at the Teleconference, Mr. Pham Xuan Canh  - Vice Secretary of the Standing Party Committee, Member of the Council of Members of PetroVietnam - provided information of “Vietnam oil & gas sector after 60 years fulfilling President Ho Chi Minh’s wills (23 July 1959 - 23 July 2019): Pros & cons, and resolutions.”

Concluding the Conference, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Communication and Education Commission gave information orientation in the coming years; and requested rapporteurs and propagandists to base on specific purposes and subjects to communicate the information from this conference.
