Proactive supporting the business community, on 21 February 2020, BIDV implemented a credit package of VND 20,000 billion and USD100 million for corporate customers with business loans in specific areas affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.

In particular, under the policy of this credit package, the bank's lending interest rate is at least 1% p.a. for loans in VND, and 0.5% p.a. for loans in USD, lower than the most recent interest rate of that loan, but not lower than the Interest rate floor of the bank. The credit package is implemented until 30 June 2020, or until the budget is fully disbursed.

Earlier, since 14 February 2020, BIDV has implemented a credit package of VND5,000 billion exclusively for the bank’s current business loans of individual customers in areas affected by Covid-19 outbreak. The credit package is implemented until 30 April 2020, or until the budget is fully disbursed.
