This new service give BIDV Smart cardholders more payment options when traveling or working in South Korea, lowering the need for foreign currency exchange which could include complicated procedures, and minimizing risks caused by carrying large amounts of cash when traveling.

Not only convenient for payment, BIDV Smart card helps save costs incurred when in South Korea. In response to Vietnam Tourism Week in Korea and the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (22 December 1992 - 22 December 2022), BIDV Smart cardholders have a chance to receive 20% cashback when spending from VND500,000, maximum cashback amount of VND1,000,000 per customer. The program is applied at the chain of stores that attract the most Vietnamese tourists in Korea, including Shilla duty-free stores, Hwachang Tosan souvenir shops, Donghwang Tosan, C & C tax refund stores, and Lotte supermarket - Lotte Mart, chain stores of Hyundai (Hyundai Premium Outlet/Department Store). This promotion lasts from 20 October 2022 to 20 March 2023.
