From August 2019, in order to enhance data security for customers and increase customer experience when using BIDV Smart Banking, BIDV has officially implemented advanced authentication method of Smart OTP integrated into BIDV SmartBanking.

From 17 February 2020, BIDV will completely replace SMS OTP with Smart OTP authentication method for e-Banking transactions. To prevent interruption of e-Banking transactions, customers are advised to convert to Smart OTP on BIDV SmartBanking before the announced time. The conversion is free of charge.

To convert to Smart OTP, open app BIDV SmartBanking, select “Setting”, select “Smart OTP”, then follow the instruction on the screen.
