After 12 days of implementation of the program “One transaction – One helping hand”, BIDV cumulated VND3.63 billion presented the money to the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Dong Anh district (VND1 billion), National Lung Hospital (VND 500 million); Bach Mai Hospital (VND1 billion), and localities in difficulty fighting the Covid-19 pandemic (VND1.13 billion).

The "One transaction - One helping hand” program was launched from 4 April to 15 April 2020 in order to support doctors and health workers to feel more confident in fighting the Covid-19. For each transfer transaction to other account holder conducted via BIDV SmartBanking and BIDV Online, BIDV deducted VND1,000 from the bank's source to support the prevention of the Covid-19. This program has received major support from the customers nation-wide.

This is one among activities and solutions that BIDV implements to encourage customers to conduct online transactions, preventing the spread of Covid-19 as well as promoting the digital economy in Vietnam. Just after 4 days (from 4 April to 7 April 2020), the cumulative amount of the program had reached over VND1 billion.

As one of the leading banks joining with the whole society to prevent and control Covid-19, BIDV is implementing many outstanding offers: Up to 70% off interbank transfer fee; Waiver of donation transfer fee for Covid-19 prevention fund; Waiver of maintenance fee for BIDV SmartBanking, BIDV Online; Credit package of VND5,000 billion for personal customers doing business affected by Covid-19 pandemic; 2 credit packages of VND50,000 billion for customers to overcome the difficulties caused by the pandemic; and “Vinmart Online” function integrated onto BIDV SmartBanking.
