From 1 September to the end of this year BIDV is offering VND1 trillion (USD44.5 million) credit packages for customers purchasing THACO automobiles.

Customers making purchases at the THACO showroom are eligible for the loans. A preferential rate of 7.7 percent is offered which is fixed for the first 12 months, and the loan term can extend to 84 months. Customers can borrow up to 80 percent of the car’s value.

Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) currently manufactures, trades, and distributes commercial vehicles including trucks and buses, passenger cars from brands including Kia (South Korea), Mazda (Japan), and Peugeot (France). As of mid-2016, the distribution system consisted of 93 showrooms and 59 dealers nationwide and the company currently has 16,000 employees.
