Regarding the new Cheque format provided by the Bank for you after the successful Core Banking system conversion, we would like to provide you with the following details:

BIDV will provide the new cheque format to customers with payment accounts at BIDV starting from September 5, 2023.

3.  Usage Timeline for the Old Cheque Format:

Customers can continue to use the old BIDV cheque format provided from March 5, 2023, until August 31, 2023.

The deadline for presenting a cheque payment request is 30 days from the drawing date. Cheque presented after the payment deadline but not exceeding 6 months after the drawing date may still be honored by BIDV (the drawee) if there is no stop payment order for that specific cheque, and if the drawer has sufficient funds in their payment account to cover the payment.
